Something to "DO"
If your itching to get outside for some exercise there are a few chores your lawn would appreciate. Picking up large debris like sticks and pine cones is a good way to do lots of bending over. Another chore is to lightly rake your lawn. Not only will your be gathering small debris but also allowing the sun to warm the ground and let air get to the plants and soil. Pay attention to any areas that are completely covered by leaves and get them removed.

Spring time
Now is the time of year to apply a lawn treatment to prevent crabgrass -

Watering your lawn
Water is essential to all life....too little water and we die, too much and we drown. The same is true for the grass in our lawns. The fact is, more lawns are damaged or destroyed by over-watering than by not watering enough. Proper watering from the beginning will have an impact on how well the lawn continues to flourish for years to come.
That said - it is best not to water your lawn when the rain is coming down like cats and dogs!
